Black Bear Carbon

2014 – 2019
CEO Black Bear. A Cleantech 100 company in the circular economy that extracts high quality materials from end-of-life tires. Built company from three people to 30+ team members. Raised over Euro 30 million, formed a strong team and constructed and operated the first industrial size factory. Positioned the company as leader in the circular economy. Black Bear was recently chosen as a Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.

2014 – 2021
Board member. Mentored Parkbee, an innovative digital parking operator, as a YES!Delft start-up. Helped raise funding and accepted Supervisory Board seat.

Circle Economy

2015 – 2020
Board Member. Circle Economy is a not for profit that offers practical and scalable solutions to accelerate the Circular Economy. Worked closely with management to improve the finances and create more visibility in performance and forecasting.

Entrepreneur-in-residence. YES!Delft is the incubator linked to the university of Delft. Selected and mentored over 100 start-ups in mostly in digital, deep tech or clean tech. During my tenure YES!Delft tripled in size.
